The Hunter

Constricted pupils and an unblinking stare, locking eyes with this young lion in Kruger National Park was enough to make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. He was among a small pride of 3 females and a partnering male, resting under a thicket of bushes and waiting for the sun to set and the hunt to begin.
